TRX and bonus balance: why the floor and the promotion's amount differ

The cashier decides whether a deposit is credited. A promotion, where there is one, decides whether the credited money starts it. They are separate decisions with separate numbers.

We print no promotion and no bonus figure for any operator, because none was on a page we could stand behind.

Below the operator's line a transfer is confirmed on the chain and still never reaches the balance.

What is the difference between a floor and a qualifying amount?

A floor is the smallest transfer the cashier will credit. A qualifying amount is the smallest credited deposit that triggers a promotion, and it lives in the promotion's terms. A deposit can clear the first and miss the second, in which case the money is a plain balance and nothing else happens.

Why does the unit matter?

A promotion may state its amount in dollars while the cashier works in coins. TRX moves against the dollar all day, so a threshold that fits at breakfast may not at dinner. Stake, whose only stated floor is in dollars, is a reminder that operators do mix units. Sportsbet.io adds that its deposit floors are counted after network fees; read a promotion's amount for the same caveat.

Can a small balance be locked?

While a promotion runs, terms can restrict withdrawals. We state none for any operator. The point for a small player is to find that clause before depositing, because a balance that already sits near a withdrawal floor, as in our note on game balance, is the balance most easily trapped.

What should be written down?

The cashier floor, the promotion's qualifying amount, the unit of each, the network named on the address screen, and the clause on withdrawals. Five lines of notes made before a deposit is the cheapest protection a small sender has, and none of it needs more than what the operator itself prints.

Short answers on bonus balances

Does a bigger deposit always start a promotion?

Only if it meets the promotion's own terms, which the cashier does not enforce.

Is the bonus floor shown on the cashier?

Not in anything we read. It sits in the promotion's terms.

Do you list promotions?

No. We state no bonus for any operator.
